as Javik was waking up from his nap today, I reached over and touched the tip of his nose.
He said "Mommy, don't mess with my nose. I'm using it for smelling."

And earlier while we were riding in the car, out of nowhere Javik pipes up
"Get up off that thing! What?! And dance til you feel better!"
hahahaha

I can't remember if I already posted this or not... =}

Javik has become very interested in the way everyone is related to each other...
He likes to talk through the family tree :: so you're my mom, and Grandma is your mom and Grandpa is your dad, and Grammy is daddy's mom, and GG is Grammy's mom...
you get the idea
So in reference to his findings, he's begun to preface all of his statements about my parents by reminding me who they are:
"Mommy, my Grandma--your mom-- told me..."
or "my Grandma--your mom-- wouldn't like it if you spanked me!"
Its like his way of reminding me that even though he can't be my boss, I did have one at one time! =] LOL

I know its been forever since I've posted! Thanks for waiting so patiently for more insight from the Javinator. =D
We've been on vacation... lots of time in the car + 24/7 together as a family = lots of Javisms. I wrote some of them down whilest we were gone so that I could remember them :: I'm sure I'll be thinking of more over the next couple days.

Jav: "Daddy, are you the boss?"
Cole: "Yep, buddy I am"
Jav: "When I grow up to be a man I'll be the boss too! But I have to get some more hair on my arms before I can be a man"

on our way back to our "vacation house" one evening after a day of playing...
me: "well, what are we going to do tonight?"
Jav: "We're just gonna eat and take a nap and rest and relax a little and then go do it again!"

on the way to visit some friends we were prepping Javik for the visit...
"Jav, we're going to see Uncle Adam. and Uncle Adam has a wife named Aunt Kari..."
"yeah, and Aunt Brian!" =]

"Mommy, when are we going to be out of the car?"
"We're almost there dude, you'll be OK"
"Well you're just driving... but I don't have anything to do!"

Javik is starting to understand time,..... but not really. I think he thinks we're just saying numbers. So he's started putting in his 2 cents worth lately:
Me: well, i guess we should start getting ready for bed.
Cole: Yeah, it is getting pretty late
Javik: Yeah guys, it's already 59 years ago!


He's also become quite dramatic... oh, who am I kidding? The kid was born dramatic!
The other day, Javik & I were playing in the pool. Finally, I had to get out. I had somewhere to go and had to start getting ready. So, after I'd been prepping him that it was almost time to get out, I finally made my move. I started to pick him up to carry him to the ladder and he went limp!
Me: "Jav, we have to get out. Mommy has a meeting."
Javik: "NO! NO! You just can't do this to me!!"
